Season 2 of the hit KBS drama series 'Full House' is in the making.
Park Chang-sik at Kim Jong-hak Production says "Jo Jeong-hwa has been working on the script for a year and the script is ready for the 3rd episode so far. Overseas shooting is also under review."
Casting will begin this year and the drama will be filmed and aired next year. The director has yet to be decided.
Park says "The first series in 2004 was beloved at home, in China and Southeast Asia so that many Asian broadcasters offered to produce their own series. A well made season 2 could hit it big at home and abroad. It's unclear whether Rain and Song Hye-kyo will be recast."
Full House, which ended airing in September 2004, was based on a popular same-titled Korean comic by Won Soo-yeon about a trendy young couple's love story. Rain and Song were touted as the most lovely drama couple.

Everything from the acting, directing, script, music played so well together, it will be hard to match. Truly, the chemistry of bikyo was amazing!

Aright, I'll post my comment, since I love Full House soooo much. They will ruin full house if they don't recast the same people, the cutest couple, kyo is cute and rain is so charming. It just won't be the same without the same cast. Chemistry might be off even if they are great actors. And if they do cast rain and kyo, then hopefully the story is as good or better than the first because they might just ruin full house, on second thought, well at least we get to see our favorite couple again even if it's not as good, and as for me, I get to see rain again, I just can't wait!

I really hope the chemistry will be kept the same. They should both be recast because, let's face it, we need them1XD They're what makes full house full house!!! I can't wait for the Full house 2! ReplyDeleteThere's not doubt that the first season of Full House set a standard for modern Korean Dramas. The story line, the characters and the acting. Perfectly crafted to say the least, and i sincerely hope Season 2 maintains the drama's reputation.
Just on a side note though, wasn't the drama scheduled to be broadcasted in 08'?

OMG! i really hope this comes out soon. i just got hooked on this k-drama this year, thanks to my sis in hawaii. But if they don't cast the same lead actors, it really won't have the same effect. who would want to watch a sequel if it's not about the same peeps! anyways, it's like the last Mummy movie when they changed the wife. NO interest in watching it. hope to see them again. if not, won't even bother.
